Send to friendThis was established in 2007. SUF carried out the initial development work, delivering the initial strategic planning and overseeing staff and student recruitment, course selection and resourcing, accommodation and feasibility.
SUF operates from an office suite located in Victoria, the capital of Seychelles. SUF has a Board of elected members which oversaw the transition of primary authority for the university from SUF to UniSey in October 2009. SUF also employs staff who are, among other things, responsible for marketing the institution and attracting additional funds for the university.
Once the university proper was established in October 2009 the SUF’s role narrowed to focus upon the last two domain areas. SUF continues to operate in close collaboration with the governing bodies of the university – the University Board and Senate.
