Longest Serving Teacher Trainer
Mr. Alex Souffe the Head of Programme of the School of Education received a special award on the occassion of teacher's day celebration during a ceremony hosted at state house on Monday 1st October. Mr. Souffe was recognised as the longest serving teacher trainer having worked in the capacity for 19 years. It was the President of the Republic of Seychelles Mr. James Alix Michel who presented Mr. Souffe his award. The ceremony was attended by the Vice Chancellor Mrs. Marina Confait, the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences Dr. Sherley Marie and the Registrar of the University Mr. Michel Denousse.
Whilst on Saturday 6th October Mr. Souffe was also awarded for his 33 years of service in teaching during the Teacher's Ball held at the NSC Hall, Roche Caiman. The event was attended by the Vice Chancellor and the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences.
