Programme Overview

The Diploma in Human Resource Management aims to introduce the academic disciplines that underlie effective management of human resources.  Successful candidates will explore the theories, practices and strategies of human resource management.  It also provide participants with an appreciation of the theoretical issues involved in the study of Human Resource management.  Participants will be offered a range of professional skills and knowledge which will enhance their potential in HR Filed and be provided with newly emerging trends in an increasingly applied way covering functional specialism of Human Resource Management.

Entry Requirements

Academic Pathway

Candidates with at least two subjects with grades ranging from A to D at Cambridge Level or equivalent.

Technical Pathway

  • Candidates with any NQF level 4 accredited certificate with 2 years continuous work experience in a relevant
    field of work at supervisory level, or
  • Mature candidates with any NQF level 3 accredited certificate with 6 years continuous work experience in
    a supervisory / team leader position, in a relevant field of work, or
  • Mature candidates with three IGCSEs, (inclusive of Mathematics & English) at minimum grade C, with 6
    years continuous work experience in a supervisory / team leader position in a relevant field of work.

Target Audience

The programme is targeting Middle Managers or qualified staff aspiring to a Management position in the Human Resource field.

Programme Details

Length: Two and a half years

Format: 10 modules and a dissertation of 12,000 words
