The Diploma in General Management allows successful candidates to analyse the different responsibilities of a manager and the attitudes, and behaviour necessary to successfully carry out these responsibilities. It also develop skills which will allow managers to cope with people issues, change, become more strategic, and to improve the decision making process for effective leadership. Candidates will be able to identify and analyse the values and practices that underline the success of effective managers and investigate strategies of putting theory into practice.
Candidates with at least two subjects with grades ranging from A to D at Cambridge Level or equivalent.
- Candidates with any NQF level 4 accredited certificate with 2 years continuous work experience in a relevant
field of work at supervisory level, or
- Mature candidates with any NQF level 3 accredited certificate with 6 years continuous work experience in
a supervisory / team leader position, in a relevant field of work, or
- Mature candidates with three IGCSEs, (inclusive of Mathematics & English) at minimum grade C, with 6
years continuous work experience in a supervisory / team leader position in a relevant field of work.
This course is designed for middle managers or qualified staff aspiring for a management position.
Length: Two and a half years
Format: 10 modules and a dissertation of 12,000 words
